Petition

The head of the party, Marquard Pienaar, lived in a tent in the Union Buildings garden, from 1 July 2020 to 30 September 2021, whilst petitioning the President of South Africa, because the media do not work the way it should in a democracy and because of corruption in the justice system, which partly caused his homelessness. Not even a meeting was arranged to discuss the petition. An employee of the Presidency, who communicated with Mr. Pienaar about the petition, disrespected Mr. Pienaar during one telephone call, calling him repeatedly "djong". The disrespect implied the Presidency is also influenced by the corrupt culture according to which a man must be corrupt to not be a "boy".
